They played for us at Tumbledown Farms and brought the house down. But, wait until you hear them NOW! With a 2010 Grammy Award Nomination, the Chocolate Drops are filled with energy and leading the revival of this venerable musical tradition. This group is the real deal belonging to an era when music was not somethign to be sold, but something for the soul. This group of African-American stringband musicians play the rich tradition of fiddle and banjo music from the foothills of North and South Carolina. |
